Looks great , but unfortunately its moza which means it will be built cheap , with sub standard materials ,base will overheat and lose ffb, will work for a couple of months then capput , then you get to deal with chinese customer support yay . Ive used their racing sim gear and been burnt . If there are any other options out there go with that you will thank me later.

Most important thing, can you feel the plane buffeting when you load the plane under high g? Or are you just feeling a progressive load as you pull? I'm not worried about the roll axis much I'm really interested in if you can feel the buffet as your pulling? It would be a huge advantage if you could so you could feel it as it starts to come up so you can relax slightly to reduce the energy scrubbing. Also is it liner? Or is it progressive? The more you pull the harder it gets?

Why is the gross weight boxes not showing for me?

It actually resembles the BeamNG engine. I have the same Moza hardware as you so it should be fun. The shifter is good but if you miss a shift, it's a bear.

Oh hell yes! We absolutely needed FFB flight sticks. It will make dcs and Sims so much more accurate along with letting us feel the plane more.... if it reacts to buffeting that will allow us to keep energy levels up better!!! This is a total must have!

Turning on the autopilot that early takes away all the fun out of flying. Maybe atleast fly manually until 18k feet, especially since you have so much flight control hardware

I am using REX AccuSeason. Hope they will adapt their mod to the new sim, as 2020, for a VFR flyer like me, is awful without some scenery and weather addons, including REX.

if 2024 cannot be based on a better satellite map I guess some of the scenery improvements will be for the birds.

i feel the same as you do. The flight model still leaves to be desired, especially on default planes.

I always tend to skip the ATC and transponder steps, but I figured since you went over it, I might as well learn something new. Can you or someone share where we get those numbers to input in the comms and transponder, from.

I still have my ancient Microsoft Sidewinder FFB Pro sitting around after all these years. I just recently drug it out to use with MSFS, though the actual FFB is only really present as a spring force. Game compatibility seems to be one of the bigger issues for FFB, at least as far as flight sims go. Admittedly I don't have much experience with them though. I bought my stick way back in the Mechwarrior days (it was bundled with MW3), which was kind of built around the FFB it offered. Seemed like several games supported it back then, but then it just kind of trailed off. Even now it seems like you need to have add-ons and mods to use it to its best effect.

Brilliant video thanks but I had the same brake issue on official PMDG version. It appears in order to release parking brake you have to hold the brakes down for about 4 seconds then you can release them - There was a change in the parking brake logic to match the real plane. You have to hold down the brakes in order to set/release the parking brake. Try holding down the brakes for 4 seconds and then clicking the parking brake.

Is GSX compatible with the aircraft now? Because on my end the cargos clip through the top of the plane and its not accurate at all. Also could you please tell me if there is a way to progressively refuel the plane rather than instantly having the fuel amount

kinda wild they just ripped the 16ex off from winwing but replaced the analogue stick with a 3 way. the throttle quandrant looks incredible though, really well thought out. kinda wish it was less specific to the hornet but I guess that's the most popular module.

I can't even get past the simbrief route request thing. The plane tells me that every ICAO code I enter is not in its database. Just after updating it through the Navigraph HUB.

In real life if your brake pressure is at 0 it means your train is in emergency. Realistically if you get on a train that is tied down the brakes should be charged and set to 70 ibs.

Your TOD wasn't showing up because you didn't complete the step climb, so it didn't calculate it. If you want to remove this problem, change the step climb from ICAO to 0

Strange how companies a decade ago could make force-feedback joysticks with a 10x smaller base (which can comfortably sit on your desk next to keyboard), and at 10x lower price compared to this monstrosity!?

When is the next train sim video?

If you really want to highlight FFB, youve gotta fly things that have reversible controls - i.e. if you are next to it on the ground shut down and reach up, grab a flight control and move it, the stick udders move. Think Warbirds, gliders. Early gen jet fighters with hydraulic controls have a lot of complexity in their FFB as well, if they are well modeled there are some flight characteristics that only are modeled correctly with FFB - the F4 Phantom, for instance, the controls had a mechanism to firm up for supersonic flight (switching over from low pressure to very high pressure basically) and when the plane went subsonic it was very easy to slam the stick back into your gut when the pressure came off. IMO the best FFB experience will be had with a simulator called Condor - its a sailplane racing sim out of Slovakia and is the best FFB product on the market, hands down.
